It’s taken me a long time to get to this place where I feel comfortable in my own decisions and not a care about what others may think.

Because of my profession I catch a lot of heat. It’s okay. It’s all part of a life choice as is my choice to no longer eat animals or use animal tested products.

I grew up in a very prominent northern New Jersey small town in an Italian Family. Italian people have traditions like all ethnic backgrounds have. My Family ate certain kinds of foods but yes, I was raised that eating meat was part of our menu. It never really dawned on me because I was so young. I always had dogs, always loved animals.

I was the kid who rescued any and every animal I could. Getting on the Long Island Expressway while my parents were driving to stop and save a dog was common for me. I was often scolded, no one wanted me to get hurt.

As I grew up, I started to research things. I joined PETA. I had my awakening.

With the age of technology there is much you can learn as well as much you can panic over. The knowledge I have obtained, even from some very wonderful clients, has made me sick. Is there any mercy for animals? Do we ever stop to wonder how that fresh, neatly packed piece of meat got to the meat department?

What about the products we use? Was that Shampoo tested on animals so I could be safe?

Honestly, what the hell did we do before we decided to test on animals? We used natural products intended by nature.

It is of my opinion that everything was made equal to be respected, loved and cared for. Nature is natural. In my opinion all animals have souls, emotions and pain. They feel torture, fear, agony. They also feel love, compassion and kindness.

I have two wonderful dogs who were both rescues. I would not eat them so why would I eat a cow? I wouldn’t let anyone harm my animals.

It is a matter of personal choice that each of us has to be able to live with. If you’re fine with eating animals, I am not here to judge you. I am here to hopefully enlighten you.

Each day animals are tortured, tormented for our own personal use and gain. I would not want that done to me. Research it.

My goal is to educate enough that people can “think” before they shove something in their mouth or run to Walmart to buy Shampoo.

“Do Unto Others as You would have them do unto you”.

With Love and Mercy For All Animals,
Michelle
